Fr. Jerome, the former provincial superior of the CMI congregation wanted to start a mission in Nandurbar, Maharashtra . He expressed this desire to the members of the School Sisters of St. Francis in Trissur. So, in 2002 three sisters came to Nandurbar and started working with the fathers to establish a school in this area. It was by the providence of God that every year more and more students came to school. The number of sister is increased every year.
Since there was hardly any girls’ hostel in this area, the parents requested Fr. Thomas, the principal, to begin a hostel for the girls. It became a great opportunity and a dream to begin a hostel for the girls. In 2008, the sisters got the permission to begin with the construction work. We have fulfilled the long-cherished dream in the academic year of 2009 by admitting the first seven girls. We thank God for his countless blessings upon us. Based on our charism we are willing to move and serve God according to the needs of the Church and time.
